How LitTik handles submitted links, media requests, browser storage, and support messages.

Information used to find a post

When you submit a TikTok link or open a post or profile page, LitTik processes that link or handle to retrieve public content. We send it to an external media provider. Depending on availability and configuration, requests may use TikWM-compatible services or services accessed through RapidAPI, and may try another provider if a request fails.

Providers return information such as creator details, captions, post identifiers, and media links. We use it to display previews and prepare downloads. LitTik does not require a user account or your TikTok password.

Media and third-party connections

Video, image, and profile previews may load directly from external media hosts. Those connections disclose the network information needed to deliver the media, such as your IP address and browser request headers, to the receiving host.

Download requests pass through LitTik to stream media to your device. LitTik does not maintain a personal download library or a permanent media archive. Grouped photo downloads are assembled into a ZIP in your browser.

Hosting and logs

Cloudflare hosts and delivers LitTik. Hosting and security services process connection and request information to deliver pages, protect the service, and diagnose failures. Request paths can identify the post or profile you opened. Application diagnostics include errors and media-provider response headers.

We have not established a separate request-log retention period. Hosting logs are subject to the hosting service’s configuration and retention rules. External media providers and media hosts have their own data-handling practices; LitTik does not control their retention periods.

For more information about the hosting provider, see Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.

Browser verification

When browser verification is enabled, LitTik uses Cloudflare Turnstile before loading profile data or preparing downloads. This connects your browser to Cloudflare for security verification. After successful verification, LitTik sets a security cookie containing a random session identifier and an expiration time. The cookie lasts for 30 minutes and is used to authorize API requests; it is not an account or an advertising identifier.

Storage in your browser

  • Your light or dark theme preference is stored locally until you change it or clear the site’s browser data.
  • A resolved short-link result may be stored in the current tab’s session storage to carry it to the post page. The app accepts that result for up to one minute and removes it when the post page reads it. Otherwise it may remain until the tab’s session storage is cleared.
  • Profile-feed data and post previews may be held in page memory or browser navigation history to support browsing and returning to a post.

LitTik’s application does not set advertising cookies or include a third-party advertising or analytics script. Hosting services may use their own security mechanisms. Clearing LitTik’s site data removes locally stored preferences and session data; files already downloaded to your device must be deleted separately.
