How to download TikTok photo slideshows

Save one photo or a ZIP of all available images, understand image quality, and recover from an interrupted download.

A TikTok photo post contains still images that you can swipe through. LitTik retrieves the images available from that post so you can save one at a time or collect them into a ZIP. The ZIP contains image files, not a video with transitions and music.

Save the photos from a public post

1. Open the photo post in TikTok and copy its link from the sharing options.
  2. Open the TikTok photo downloader, paste the link, and select View TikTok.
  3. Check the creator, caption, and image previews on the results page to make sure you opened the right post.
  4. Use the download button beneath an image to save it individually. When multiple images are available, choose Download all … photos (.zip) to collect them into one file.
  5. Keep the page open while the ZIP is being prepared. Find the completed download in your browser’s downloads list or your device’s file manager.

Choose individual photos or a ZIP

If you only want two images from a longer slideshow, use their individual buttons. If you want the whole available set, a ZIP is easier to keep together and transfer between devices. Extract the archive before opening the images in another app.

The photo filenames include the creator, post ID, and photo number. The numbers identify the order returned for the post; your file manager’s sorting can affect how that order appears on screen.

What happens to image quality?

LitTik downloads the image files returned by the source. The ZIP groups those files without recompressing the images. It does not increase their resolution or recover detail missing from the source. A larger preview on your screen does not mean a higher-resolution file is available.

If the ZIP stops partway through

A single unavailable image or a connection timeout can stop the archive. LitTik reports the failure instead of offering an incomplete ZIP. Reload the post to refresh its download links and try again. If only one image keeps failing, you can still try saving the other images individually.

Leaving the post page cancels an active photo archive. Wait for the completed download before navigating away. For other errors, see why a TikTok download may not work.

Photos, videos, and music are separate

Saving a photo slideshow does not create an MP4. A music download may be listed separately if the source supplies it, but it is not included in the photo ZIP. If the post is actually a video, use the video downloader; LitTik does not extract still frames from it.

On an iPhone, follow the Files and ZIP instructions to find the archive and open its images. Save content you own or have permission to use.
